If you haven’t heard of Wind River, Washington, let us introduce you. Nestled among the ridges of the Cascade Mountains, just a few miles north of the Columbia River Gorge, this is where the U.S. Forest Service built a ranger station, a tree nursery, and a research center in the early years of the 20th century.  It looks abandoned now, but we are working to restore the old buildings and reinvent the historic nursery field as a native plant center. Come visit - for vacations, meetings, or small events.  When you choose Wind River, you’re helping to bring the shine back to this special place.  We hope to see you soon!
