One of our first priorities is to renovate the former nursery office to create a visitor center. This office was built in 1959, and while not as charming as some of the older structures, it represents the influence of changing architectural styles at Wind River. Along with several other buildings on site, it appears in a 1967 episode of the television show “Lassie.” The Visitor Center will include a studio apartment to house a volunteer site host to provide assistance for guests.
